Hydrosols
Long before "aromatherapy" was a word, people were burning bundles of sage and sticks of palo santo to clear a room and mark a moment — a ritual as old as the plants themselves. It's a beautiful practice, but not always a practical one: open flame isn't welcome in every home, smoke isn't kind to every set of lungs, and not everyone has a place to burn safely. A hydrosol solves that without asking you to give anything up.
A hydrosol isn't a synthetic room spray dressed up in botanical language — it's the plant itself, distilled. When we steam-distill sage or palo santo wood, the aromatic compounds release and travel with the steam; as it cools, that fragrant water is what we bottle. No flame, no dilution, no shortcuts — just the plant, water, and heat, the same process used for centuries, just adapted for a mist instead of a fire.
We distill every hydrosol ourselves, in small batches, so what's in the bottle is exactly what we intended it to be. Our sage comes in two forms — white and blue — because they aren't interchangeable: white sage is the bold, traditional choice for deep, thorough clearing, while blue sage is softer and sweeter, suited to gentler moments that call for ease rather than intensity. Our palo santo is offered by origin rather than treated as one generic wood, because Peru and Ecuador genuinely smell different — Peruvian palo santo leans brighter and spicier, with notes of citrus and mint, while Ecuadorian palo santo is softer and sweeter, closer to vanilla and cinnamon.
Each mist is meant to be breathed into a room, not onto skin — a smoke-free way to hold onto a ritual that fire made difficult. Apartment-friendly, travel-friendly, and safe around pets, children, and sensitive lungs, they carry the presence of the plant without the parts that made it complicated.
